Fibonacci Patterns in Nature

We read a book called 'Growing Patterns' by Sarah Campbell which explains the Fibonacci sequence of numbers - 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21...  Can you see how the sequence continues?

After reading the book we made a view finder that we used to help us to find examples of the sequence around our school which we then photographed.  The plan was to use a photo we took ourselves to create a Fibonacci poem that we would illustrate and publish in a book that also reflected the sequence.  Unfortunately, we ran out of time so we will have to finish our books in Term 3.
