St Francis/Whangarei Sports Challenge Shield

For several years Whangarei Primary School comes up to St Francis Xavier to do battle on the sports fields.  We have a competition to see which school will win the Shield.  We play rugby, soccer, hockey, netball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess and other board games - (not all the games are for points though!)  At the end of the day we share afternoon tea and Whangarei Primary students have to walk back to their school.  This year we won the Shield by only a few points.  We had some great games and everyone had lots of fun.
