Before we had learnt any thing about bikes, cogs, gears, chains and all that stuff on Wheels Day
we got some people to bring their bikes into class to look at them. We found out that when you turn the pedal, it turns the wheel and when you put the wheel on the ground, the ground makes the wheel slow down by creating friction.
