Wheels Day

These pictures are from Wheels Day.  As you can see, these bikes have all the legal requirements and are all different sizes, shapes and brands.  Each vehicle had a different course to run.  All the courses were the same length but they had different twists and turns.  The vehicles were used on concrete so they didn't slide on wet grass.  All of the bikes looked different and unique but as you can see all the riders needed to have helmets for safety reasons.  There were also rollerblades, rip sticks and skateboards.  All the vehicles are controlled in different ways. For example, the bike is controlled by pushing down the pedals, the rip stick, rollerblades and the scooters are moved by force and body movement.
