Taonga - Mihi and Pendants

Watch the following video and see our work in progress. As we worked through our ideas we decided that we would frame our work using corrugated cardboard. Some of us decided to weave paper as a back ground to mount our mihi and pendant on. This was after we had used harakeke and found it would not be suitable. We had to publish our mihi onto a another background that suited the colour of our weaving, pendant and frame. At this stage our work is in several pieces.
