Kid Tri

We were really lucky to have some specialist training sessions with Mr Healy and his team who taught us how to compete in a triathlon.  Mr Healy bought all the bikes and helmets which was awesome, it meant that everyone could participate even if you didn't have a bike at home.  We had to learn how to transition from each discipline successfully because that is where you can win or lose a triathlon.  Also knowing how to transition properly makes it safer for all the contestants.  Because we don't have a pool, we had to use a slippery slide for the swimming section.  That was great fun.  Lots of us then went on to compete in the local Kids Tri and some of us also went to an interschool competition.
