On Tuesday last week, Room 1, 10 and 16 went to Waitangi as part of our turangawaewae study. We left at 9.00 and three buses took us up north to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. We spent the day there, learning about the huge ceremonial waka, the Treaty House, marae and the history of the signing of the treaty. We will be posting individual photos that we explain in later posts.
