Firstly, we thanked our camp cooks, Carol and Natalie by singing them a song.
Next, we found out who won the camp speech competition. The judges had a hard time making their decision as all the speeches were really good. We had been listening to all the contestants over the three nights of our stay. In the end, Alice from Room 20 was the winner with her speech about chocolate.

Just before we left caught the ferry back to the mainland, we sang 'You Can Count on Me' by Bruno Mars to Peter and Erin. We had heard that it was one of Erin's favourite songs. Peter and Erin run the camp and they really look after us when we come to stay.
You are all so lucky to have had such a great time on camp. What fabulous parents you had to help you. Sounds like there are some great speech writers out there. I like the sound of chocolate as a topic to talk about. Hope she gave you some to try!
