Pattern and Dance
We have been learning some dance elements such as cannon, mirroring and flocking that we can use to create a dance pattern. A cannon is like the Mexican Wave you seen at sports events. Mirroring is when two dancers work together with one reflecting the other's movements. A group of dancers (usually three people) can use flocking to create a dance without having to remember exact choreography. The group works in the shape of a V, just like a flock of birds. The dancer at the top of the V leads and the other dancers copy the movements of the lead dancer.
