Soundscape - Nelson, Jackson, Joel and Preston

Another sort of pattern we explored was music.  We worked in small groups and each created a Soundscape that reflected the poem 'Two Day Wonder" by David Hill.  We had to 'find' sounds in our environment (rustling paper, tapping a pencil on a can, etc), create our own musical notation for each sound and finally compose a piece music.  It was a pretty noisy process, but we all created our music and performed it (after quite a bit of practice).
