Rooms 19 and 20 went to Waitangi as part of our learning about the Treaty of Waitangi. This place and the document are important parts of our New Zealand history and it is important that we know why. We did an exercise around the time of Waitangi Day earlier in the year

and we really didn't know or remember much. Going to Waitangi has helped us understand a bit more. We saw one of the copies of the the Treaty in the museum and learned a lot more about the people and time.
