Kids Tri

We spent three sessions over three days developing the skills needed to complete a triathlon.  On Day 1, we honed our cycling skills by negotiating tricky obstacles like riding over a ladder and thin wooden planks.  We also had to be controlled when going over the jumps and show endurance.  Riding on grass is quite hard and tiring.  We also ran relay races to practise good running posture.  We had races running through the rungs of a rope ladder on the ground and using high knees to get over mini hurdles.

Day 2 saw us putting all the skills learning from Day 1 together to complete the full course for cycling and running.  It's a long way!

Day 3 we used a slippery slide to simulate the swimming aspect of race and did that as well as cycling and running the full course.

It was hard but lots of FUN.
