Silhouette Art - explanations.

In my portrait I have things that I like in it, like flowers.  Flowers remind me of gardens.  I put cookies and milk because dipping cookies in mild makes me happy.  Iceblocks refresh me on a hot and sunny day or afternoon.  Surfing is a fun activity for me to do.  The flags represent my countries that I come from.  Books keep me calm and focused from distractions.  I love riding my bike with Mum.  I like maths because you get to learn new strategies.  I put my initials because it's a shorted way of writing my name.  I love crafting so I put a symbol of a paint brush to represent my crafting.  Those are the things, well some of the things that are in my portrait.

On my silhouette art I put a marlin, an X-Box, an iPad and a rugby ball.  I chose these because these are interesting and they're cool.  My favourite one is my iPad because I can play games and movies on it.

My Silhouette

For my silhouette I have drawn a PSP because I like playing on my PSP, a rubik cube because I like challenges, an L because my name starts with L, a rugby ball because I play rugby, the New Zealand flag because I'm from New Zealand, and an athletics track because I like running (sometimes).

My Art

One thing that I drew on my art was the New Zealand flag.  It shows that New Zealand is my home, country and turangawaewae.  I was born and raised up here so this is definitely by home.  Another thing that I did was a smile.  It shows that I never like to be sad and always have a smile on my face.  One more things is the kiwi.  It is one of my favourite animals and its fur is so smooth.

The sun is a bright big golden star.  I love it when the sun is out so then me, family and school friends can go outside and play.  Right at the bottom is a river, the Mangakahia River.  It is the name of my river on my pepeha and it's right next to my mountain, Kohatomaunga.

One other thing that I put on my art was a peace sign.  I like to keep the peace with everyone and peace is the meaning of my name, which means heavenly peace.  One last thing that drew was pizza.   It is so yum (meat lovers).  It's one of my favourite foods.
