Pattern and Maths

We have been looking at lots of patterns during maths time.  Mrs Ross has been teaching us about symmetry both reflective and rotational.  We made some awesome Mother's Day cards using rotational symmetry for the decoration.  We use the poetry pattern of Haiku to write something special for our mums.

Other patterns we have been focusing on are : basic facts, continuous number patterns, recognising patterns using subitizing cards, using patterns to record our thinking - clarity, to name a few.
