We are learning new sentence structures or patterns in te reo Maori to help us learn how to say where items or people from the class are.  Read these sentences to practice the pattern.  Make some new sentences using other kupu.

Kei roto i te akomanga he tepu
The table is in the classroom

Kei runga i te tepu he pene rakau
The pencil is on the table

Kei waho i te akomanga he kiako
The teacher is out of the classroom

Kei raro i te turu he rapa
The eraser in under the chair

Kei roto i te kapata he peita
The paint is in the cupboard

Kei runga i te whariki he pene hinu
The crayon is on the mat
