Developmental Time

As a whanau we try to get together to develop new skills and practise others in a fun way.  We call this time developmental.  It is also a time where we can develop our tuakana- teina relationship as well, where the older children can guide the younger ones.   We get into our buddy reading teams and head off to one of the classrooms to spend the afternoon working and learning together.  In Room 20 we had the choice of creating animations, creating and building with blocks, lego and geo shapes, mosaics, origami books and making whirly worms!
