We have started a art project that also is helping us to learn the words for our body parts in te reo Maori. We have cut out ears - taringa, noses - ihu and other body parts from magazines. We had to place them on an outline of a body and then label each part in te Reo Maori using fancy fonts. What we found when we were researching the kupu - words, that there are different words for the same part. It depended on what source you used - Google Translate, Maori dictionaries, labelled images. Here is a finished example.
