We read this article which describes how Maori view their wharenui. Most of us would just see a building but this story explains how the wharenui is more than a building, that represents the tipuna or ancestors of the people. Each part of the wharenui relates to parts of the human body and all parts are interconnected, like the human body. We were asked to think about these things and how they might connect to our concept of Hauora.
