Up at Waitangi we got called on to the grounds by Jojo and Te Tuhi. Then Te Tuhi and Jojo started to talk in Maori. When they had finshed they started to sing in Maori. Matua Bernard began his mihi and replied. After he had finished talking we sand Tenei Te Kura, our school song. After that, Matua Arthur spoke and then we all sung another song called Tutira Mai. Finally, the whanau leaders hongied with Te tuhi and Jojo. After that they spoke in English. Finally we could all understand.
